Chalet Bouton D’Or I4 is located in a residence of chalets and apartments. There is stunning scenery, with alpine views and acres of stunning countryside surrounding the residence. The lovely sunny terrace is south facing and opens onto gardens and meadows – ideal for children to play outside.
The property benefits from one private covered parking space, plus further ample communal parking. An integral ski locker is also provided.
The chalet apartment offers a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom property sleeping 8 people occasional 10 in 110m2 of accommodation arranged over 3 levels in a quiet location overlooking meadows. Part of a terrace of 6 chalets, in the popular Fermes de Samoens residence. Located just 5 minutes’ walk from Samoens center.

There is a free and regular ski bus that stops just outside the chalets, taking you to the Grand Massif Telecabine. The telecabine is a 10-12 minute (1km) beautiful flat walk along the side of the River Giffre or there is a large car park available.
All the facilities of the complex are available in the summer and winter seasons. This includes a sauna, steam room/sauna, small indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool (summer only) plus a communal lounge with fireplace and pool table – perfect for relaxing after a day’s skiing or hiking. Please note the pools are closed for maintenance on a Saturday.
We operate a Saturday changeover, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available.
As you enter the property there is a coat and shoe cupboard in the hallway with an additional ski cupboard with shelving for boots, space for skis, helmets etc. On the right hand side is a shower room with WC with sink. Through the hallway enter the open plan living area, furnished in traditional alpine style.
The kitchen area has currently been updated currently offering hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, table top oven and coffee machine. There is a large dining table which can comfortably seat up to 8/10 people. The lounge area includes a comfy sofa with two armchairs with coffee table, dresser and side lamps looking out through large French windows over the patio and meadows. There is a LCD TV, Blu-ray/DVD player and DVDs. WiFi is available for a fee within the chalet but is provided during opening hours within the communal areas for free.
A south facing sunny terrace is equipped with table, chairs, deck chairs and umbrella, a perfect place to relax in the sun after a day’s activities. The property is managed locally by KPS and professionally, who will meet and greet you on your arrival and are contactable during your stay if you have any problems. We can provide a welcome pack for a small fee.
Stairs lead from the lounge to two further floors, each containing 2 bedrooms.
The first floor contains a south facing twin room, with mirror, dressing table shelf, drawer unit, hanging hooks and wardrobe with balcony overlooking the meadows and a waterfall.
The double bedroom with views over the Crioux mountain has a mirror and dressing table shelves, with decorative hooks and a large wardrobe with shelving this room. In between the 2 bedrooms is the family bathroom, with sink, mirror and vanity cupboard, full size bath, overhead shower and a separate WC.
Stairs lead up from the hall to the spacious second floor bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with a snug/ childrens play area. A large wardrobe, mirror and dressing table shelves, decorative hanging hooks and large drawer unit provides generous storage space and this bedroom also offers flexibility to be a second twin. The fourth bedroom is a large double bedroom, with large built in wardrobe with hanging space, large drawer unit with mirror and dressing table stool and decorative hanging hooks.
Les Fermes de Samoëns residence is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with a 10 -minute walk from the village of Samoëns making it an ideal choice for year-round, alpine holidays.
The residence is within close proximity to the river and nearby forest, as well as the open fields of Les Vallons but with the convenience of village life. An easy, flat 5-minute walk leads you straight to the village centre with its many shops, bars, restaurants, beautiful gardens, and medieval square, which features a beautiful church, ancient buildings and the village put on an extensive animation program during the tourist season.
During the winter months the free, ski bus stops right outside your front door, guaranteeing quick and easy access to the main Grand Massif Express lift and the Grand Massif Ski Area. There is ice skating at the 600m2 ice skating complex a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Depending on snow conditions there is also some excellent cross country skiing terrain situated within an easy 5-minute walk.
